PS: Let’s make note that the only people I REALLY feel bad for in this situation between Deion and Pilar are their sons, who apparently witnessed their mom attacking their father. And…might I also throw some fuel on the fire that not too long before she attacked him…pictures of him and Tracy Edmonds (Babyface’s ex-wife) surfaced…and they actually make a cute couple. Not that I’m saying that their dating, though. But they did look good together lol. Maybe that’s why Pilar went berserk….

Why is he considered a "punk bish" for going to the police and filing a report? THat's just azz backwards thinking. However, had he fully defended himself and mollywhopped her and her friend then there would be a totally different take on the story. (assuming his claims are correct)
The only thing I take issue with is his posting the isht on Twitter. Leave it to the courts to decide and don't invite even more drama into the children's lives. It's bad enough they are witnessing the foolishness between their parents.
^^^ This. No man should ever put his hands on a woman in my opinion. Especially not in front of his children. If Deion had laid a single hand on her, he'd be the one arrested. Self defense doesn't come into play in DV cases. 9 times out of 10 the man is the one assumed to be the aggressor.
As for posting this shyt on twitter, that imho is the 'punk bish' move. Keep your bizness out the streets.
I have to amend that. I live by "No man should ever put his hands on a lady." If a lady puts her hands on me, she is no longer a lady, but a threat to my well-being. This means she consents to be handled however I see fit.
Nobody (except Mom and Dad) gets to hurt me without fear of retaliation.

Not a guy, but had he knocked her out, then called the cops, I wouldn't be mad. I'm not mad that he filed a report. What is killing me is the attention whoring/stunting on Twitter.
I think they believe that playing it all out for the worls to aee will help them in the court battle… smh

File charges? IDK… maybe if I feel she is insane. But a one off.. to me that's like a child trying to fight me. I would be like.. "pssshhht.. look whatever… go over there and sit your azz down before I get my switch".
Maybe cause I have two daughters.. but I know I felt like this before they were born too. If ANYONE lay hands on my daughters… I would be like this all over his azz:

Not all chicks willing to come and fight you will be like little kids. There is a BIG difference between having a grown woman coming at you with a knife and an 8 year old. My thing is how many of these females out here think it's perfectly fine to come at someone with a deadly weapon and get away with it…as long as he isn't stabbed/cut/shot too badly…ijs
I feel you.. but to me.. I see it all the same. I mean knowing my physical abilities and all. An 8 yr old come at me, I mush him in the face, spin him around and slap his bottom. A grwon female come at me with a knife. Believe that I can disarm his just as easily. I may use certain moves on her…but punch her.. never.
I hear you brother, but I'm 5'8" and 135. Most women I've dated after my 20's were bigger than me. I know what I can do, they know what I can do, and that uuuuuuuuusually was enough to keep them from acting up. But I have gotten hurt several times trying to restrain a woman, so if it was two of them I would take what I could… but I would keep my options open if it got too crazy.
I'll take it one step further, where does the mentality come from that a woman should be able to get all violent on a man and not have any consequences from it? Is it because women want the ability to say they just flew off the handle and couldn't control her emotions so therefore it wasn't her fault, or is it since men are bigger and stronger than women he should be able to take whatever punishment she dishes out? Because if it's the latter, would it be ok for a smaller man to start beating on a bigger woman just because he wouldn't be able to cause much damage to her? (case made for argument purposes only lol)
As B said below… a smaller guy cant go toe to toe with a larger woman. If he is 130lbs and 5'5 and she is 6'0 180 or more…then he has to get away. and stay gone from her. But in most states.. if a man does hit a woman.. he will get in trouble… of course this is case by case basis…
I believe a man should not put his hands on a woman. However, I was raised that if a woman squares up with you like a man and leaves you no means of egress except through her path, then you make haste in getting through her with an appropriate level of force. If it takes a smack to distract, if it takes a fist to the jaw, a brick to the forehead, a bullet in the ass, do what you have to do for self preservation.
And to that I added the following, I would rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6. Square up and corner me in my room with your home girl if you want to and find out how blue steel feel for real.

I'mma have to disagree. Call it a generational gap but I don't play the "women are weak because they have vaginas" game AT ALL. I don't care WHAT the older generation's backward azz scientists say about physiology and how men have an alleged edge over women in a fight. The bigger man doesn't always win the fight. The faster person usually does.
If a woman comes at me like an opponent she will be dealt with as one. I believe in EQUALITY. That chauvinistic mentality has helped many a dude pick themselves up off the floor missing some pieces if they get up at all because they assume a woman can't hurt them. Silliness in the 3rd degree…
I teach my daughter to fight so she won't be taken advantage of, but I will not teach her that "real men don't hit women" garbage. Because I'm sure Rhianna was drinking that saaame kool aid when C Breezy finally had enough backhand sandwiches.
Self defense is for everyone. Not just women. I couldn't imagine calling myself a man about equality and then treating a woman like she's nothing more than a dainty victim-in-waiting because the good Lord did not bestow upon her a jibby of her own. Caaaan't even do it.

I was taught by my mother of all people that if a woman wanted to attack me like she was a man, I'm within all rights to fight back like she was one. I've never had to hit a woman, but I've learned enough restraining holds that if I were attacked I could de-escalate the situation.
Calling the cops would be the best course of action, however. That I agree with Deion on.
You play with the cards you're dealt, and as a man, the hand you are dealt says, "If you hit her you go to jail until they sort it out." His only chance to avoid jail was for him to be scarred and them to not be when the cops got there… anything else is he said/she said with she said having more acceptance after a fight.
In that situation, you take the @ss whoopin if you can, particularly if your kids are watching. Better to explain to them later why you let mommy hit you than why you hit mommy. Keep it to yourself unless you think there is a chance of it happening again, in which case you report it. Don't believe for a second that if she brought her girl it was the only girl she told… she was just the one that was most down for a beatdown. She has already started rallying the troops, so get your kids and get out of the house.
And keep that mess off twitter. Call you boys if you need support, but grown men that have self-respect and believe they're right don't need to try their case in the court of public opinion.
I don't agree w/him posting the pic of his children (allegedly) filling out the police report. The only reason I can see for him tweeting about it period is the court of public opinion & for the divorce case; he wanted to get his side out immediately. I think that this whole divorce is messy & there's enough money there to live in separate homes; y'all not getting back together. And I agree w/the fellas about not laying hands on a woman because it will automatically be seen negatively on us…that being said, if my only out is through you…*cues Ludacris* Move…

Filing the police report was appropriate. Puting it on Twitter wasn't. Frankly, I'd be more worried about how all of this is affecting the children.
Here is a few more details… I live locally to this whole drama. And my completely bias view from the news reports about this mess.
Deion's house is 23,000 square feet. Yes… 23,000 thousand. And that is why they where both still living in the same house. It is a big house.
Pilar was his jump off that he married. He had ran around on his previous wife, with this girl, all over Dallas before he decided to dump his first wife. And his first wife is a really nice, decent girl, whom he was not very nice to when he decided to dismiss her.
And Pilar is not going quietly like the first wife did. And her lawyer had manage to negotiate her staying in the martial home. Which has p*ssed off Deion to no end. He has been looking for a way to dismiss Pilar from his life for months now. And not have to pay her a dime. I believe she signed a pre-nup that gives her nothing.
So Deion is determine to get full custody of their children to make sure he does not have to pay any kind of child support to her. So the drama this week was to get Pilar arrested. And get that restraining order issued to get her kicked out of that big house. Which he manage to do.
She should have never been tossed into jail. And the county said so… after they released her. But Ponder is a tiny town. So they helped Deion out. But they ended up having to charge him with the sames charges the next day. Yet, he did not have to go to jail and get bailed out.
He is an ass. And this is all about him wanting to cut Pilar off financially. And finally get her out of the house. And she was the one who ended up physically hurt. He broke her thumb and punched her in the mouth. Which you can see her bottom lip is busted in the middle in that picture.
THe added details do not garner any empathy for Pilar and her busted lip. If the history you've provided here is true, then dare I say Karma popped her in the mouth using Deion's fist. The whole sordid tale is sad and sorry and at the root of it are two media wh0res. Neither one of those are giving a single fvck about their children.

These 2 need to take a whole damned stadium full of seats! My question is why did Pilar expect better treatment than the first wife? And why in all hells is there not a guest house? 23000 sq.ft home and they dont have a pool house,guest house or something? Why did Deion think it was a good idea to be at the house with Pilar and her girlfriend in the midst of an acrimonious divorce? And didnt his mama teach him not to be putting his bi'ness in the street?
Sooo… i had more than one question, but the first one set off a chain reaction that i had to put on stand by…
I would neither take the L, nor would I file a police report. I would beat two hoes down. Sorry, mom.
