It’s Wednesday again, which means it’s time for a new round of MFK.
We’ve all played the “M.F.K” game before — where you take three names and decide which ones you’d marry, which one gets the drawls, and which one gets murdered? Well this is exactly the same, except with music.
I give you three songs, and all you have to do is leave a comment below and tell tell me which one you love enough marry, which one you just want to get naked with, and which one you want to kill so that you’ll never have to hear it ever again.
Last week was a good one for us as we unleashed The Milk on people — but last week also featured tunes where the videos themselves kinda helped make the songs seem cooler than maybe they actually were. So this week we’re going the other way. All the songs this week are presented without fancy video imagery to help them along, just static pictures — which means it’s all up to the music to win your favor.
Of course, we’re always looking for reader submissions — so if there’s a track you heard and you kinda like it, or you seriously love it, or you absolutely HATE IT — find a YouTube and email me the link and I’ll post it up here as soon as I can.
But enough of my blabbering. This week it’s all about the hip-hop. We’ve got MCs of every flavor: Famous rappers, indie rappers, rappers who sing, rappers who act, east coast, west coast — you name it, we’ve got it (also, Drake shows up).

Yeah, I'm new to Homeboy Sandman as well — but I'm liking what I hear so far. That track is an earworm — it sticks with you.
M: Homeboy Sandman — Watchu Want From Me (I recently heard this dude and I dig him. Dude's delivery is promising but not quite there. Production definitely works for me tho.)
F: Killer Mike feat. Bun B, T.I., Trouble, & El-P — Big Beast (Fleeting. Forgetable. But bouncy. I heard El-P in the production…but then didn't. It's eh, but it's much more meaningful than that Drake/Aaliyah shyt tho.)
K: Aaliyah feat. Drake — Enough Said (Dawg. C'mon. No.)
I'm pretty much down to check out anything T.I. or Bun B are willing to put a stamp on, and this time around I feel like that bet paid off. Killer Mike's flow reminds me a little bit of KRS-One, even though they're obviously very different when it comes to subject matter.

K – Killer Mike (couldn't get past :30); and Drake for his creepy ongoing obsession with Aaliyah
F – That Aaliyah track WITHOUT Drake — can't remember the link. And Jojo's remixes of Drake's songs…
It's weird about Drake. Sometimes he really does seem to make tracks he's on better — and I've heard songs we's written that I like, but leave him to his own devices long enough and he'll come out with stuff like this.
I'm not saying he's completely horrible, but I feel like he's a better collaborator than anything else.

I couldn't read the post because of that gif…. it just gave me life this morning… Once I stop laughing going to try again…
Drake needs to have a seat in a classroom and get his GED and leave Aaliyah alone…his obession with her is getting to be almost a rabbit in the stew pot for me…..
It's a tie between Killing the Drake "song" and the Killer Mike. I couldn't get past :15 of that second song. It was just no consensual abuse to my ears. And what the hale was Drake doing? It's like he made that song on a Playskool, my first recording studio. Ugh.
And I'd eff the hell out of the last track. That beat was bangin'!
I couldn't marry any of these songs.

The third track did really make me feel any kind of way.
