Wednesday’s back, which means it’s time for MFK!
We’ve all played the “M.F.K” game before — where you’re given three names and have to decide which one you want to put a ring on, which one you spend the night with and then sneak out before they wake up the next morning, and which one simply needs to be killed?
Well this is exactly the same, except with music. I give you three songs, and all you have to do is leave a comment below and tell tell me which one you LOVE, which one you want to fugg, and which one sleeps with the fishes.
Of course, we’re always looking for reader submissions — so if there’s a track you heard and you kinda like it, or you seriously love it, or you absolutely HATE IT — find a YouTube and email me the link and I’ll post it up here as soon as I can.

One thing you might not know is that record companies tend to angle album releases of established artists in early autumn, figuring that even if they don’t get many hits from these albums that come Christmastime when people are pressed for a gift they can always lean on that “Well, I remember that so-and-so, likes Green Day, so I guess it would be ok to get him their new CD, right?”
So what you’re seeing now is either the “return” of a lot of artists who you might have thought were gone for good (like No Doubt, for instance), or the hotly anticipated second offering from people who might have made a splash last year, but haven’t become superstars yet.
With that in mind, this week we bring back some familiar names to see what they have to offer in 2012 — Let’s see what you think.
And remember, even if you like the songs — you HAVE TO CHOOSE!
Bruno Mars — Locked Out of Heaven
Soundgarden — Been Away Too Long
Maroon 5 — One More Night

::shimmy::::::Try to tell you no but my body keeps on tellin you yes… LURVE
That Bruno secretly gives me hope
Soundgarden can stay gone for me..over it
I always start out hating how sort of cheesy Maroon 5 songs sound, but if I make my way to about the middle of them I start tapping my foot.
It's a flavor I have to get used to, but it does start to grow on you once it gets going.
Marrying M5 because Adam Levine
Bruno…eh…I'd fugg
SoundGarden…Maybe I'm too old for so much yelling and angst (get off my lawn!) so, not feeling it. Killet.
I used to be part of a soundcrew here in Florida that worked at a club called the Milk Bar, and the one show I worked with Soundgarden was one of the craziest nights ever (and there were a LOT of crazy nights at that place).
Chris Cornell kept stagediving into the crowd during songs (massive mosh pit that night) and the crowd kept trying to rip his clothes off — they got his shirt, but then when he jumped back on stage he pointed to his combat boots, which he had DUCT TAPED TO HIS PANTS to help prevent this very problem.
I was never like a superfan of the band before that night, but they really threw it down.
Not sure they needed to come back on the scene, but I'd still go see them live in a heartbeat.
Went to go see Soundgarden play supporting Badmotorfinger and he and I looked enough alike at the time that some teenager mistook me for him after the show. I totally played it off and my friends clowned me for it but that guy probably tells the story of how nice Chris Cornell was to him. Years later I literally bump into Cornell shopping. We look at each other like, "You look familiar." and walk away.
Bruno Mars' mom likes to occaisionally drink at a bar across the street and hit on my friend.
M – Maroon 5 – cuz I like PJ Morton & Adam Levine has a purty mouth
F – Bruno Mars; he's coming to take his pompadour from Miguel
K – Soundgarden – I just cannot…
I just don't get the Bruno Mars thing.
His voice sounds like one of those robots from Chuck E Cheese, and his music is so annoyingly peppy. Am I the only one who feels the urge to punch him repeatedly?
I get that – and his shtick does wear a little thin at times; but he's also like 4'5, so it's like punching a Lollipop Guild member…and no one wants to be that guy
nope.
sorry Hex…I'm kinda eh to all of them…
So you're saying I should have gone ahead and posted that awful new Wiz Khalifa tune instead?

Thought about including this, but I was already punchy enough after Bruno.
sir!
but I do want you to sign up for SoulBounce's e-bounce newsletter…it comes out weekly
nice summary of all the new music they post weekly…
I'd like to see some more soul music in MFK…
yea I just got all music editor boss on you LOL
M – Maroon 5….Its interesting enough that I actually listened to the whole song, but I wouldn't rush off
to buy it
….now, we'll toss the coin to see who gets voted off MFK… its Tails, so……
F- Soundgarden. Cornell is in good voice, but that "music"… WTF—trying to channel a Zepplin sound? b
Boys… don't; go back to the dark, driven sh!t we love you for.
K- Bruno Mars; this TRIPE was Soooooooooooooo disappointing. Bruno, see what happens when you do too much snow and pretend to be gangster?
They've always been compared to Zep since they started. That was the knock against them since Cornell sings in an upper register. This song sounds like an outtake from Down on the Upside.
I never heard the Zep until this tune… granted I'm not the most rabid fan of Soundgarden…
Eh – I like Bruno and Maroon 5 – but you can kill all three of these songs.
I love this M5 song. The video kinda sucks for it but <3
+1 and a hearty AMEN,…..
M- M5
F- Bruno
K- that middle one. No thanks
[Emm] Soundgarden — Been Away Too Long: It makes for decent background music that can consistently be played w/o thinking about it.
[Eff] Bruno Mars — Locked Out of Heaven: I thought I'd dislike this song, but I don't. Very peppy w/o being too poppy. Reminds me of a Sting song.
[Kay] Maroon 5 — One More Night: Too poppy, too annoying. Not horrible, but still…naw.
m: soundgarden. i can't say no to chris cornell. if i was odysseus, he would be the sirens to my demise
f: maroon 5. they're kind of following the same route as train, but they're still enjoyable
k: bruno mars. kill that shyt with fire!!!
M: Maroon 5
F: Bruno Mars
K: Soundgarden
