I want to take this time to reiterate what I said on Facebook yesterday.
Anyone in the path of this heffa Sandy please make all the necessary preparations to ride this storm out. It is better to be prepared for a crisis and nothing happen than to have a crisis and not be prepared.

Anyway, how was everyone’s weekend? Mine was completely uneventful, even though I had planned on having a date with my son. When Saturday rolled around the both of us was really not trying to go anywhere so we stayed in, plus I had a bad sinus headache.
That same headache carried over to Sunday so I chilled most of the day.

It was a good weekend! Got twisted for my birthday yesterday! Threw some meat on the grill.. it was off the chain!

Hosted a Girl Scout Father/Daughter dance Saturday. It was great to see all the dads/uncles/brothers etc dancing with all the beautiful little girls. Sunday I laid up and didn't do a damn thing. I watched The walking Dead and then called it a night.

Some kinda ebola virus has me feeling extra crunchy,so I didn't do jackdiddly this weekend.I didn't cook,clean or anything else that required me expending energy.I sat on my couch and played hidden object games.
I went to a halloween party as a vampire on Saturday. Sunday I drove home and got caught up in some evacuations from Philly and the Jersey suburbs of Philly. This bish is not here for any of us in Jersey.
Spent most of the weekend chilling. Sat morning was a friend's funeral, went to the neighborhood Halloween event with the kids Sat evening. Sunday was spent laying around the house and doing laundry. Took the kids to a Halloween party that evening.
. I spent the weekend securing supplies and getting ready to bounce. Yeah…im currently holed up in a motel about an hour or so inland from the shore where I live.
wildwood is just..completely underwater.
imma ride the storm out here and after that….?? red cross shelter here i come

My weekend other than answering calls – more crocheting, took pics of my kids for their portfolios, slept.
Today – went to a parent-teacher conference for the 9yo. She has As and one B! So happy! She's a grumpy non-reader, so it's nice that she's doing well.

It means you are loved fool, accept it. Better those calls then the 'Hey you got $40 till Friday I can borrow' phone calls.
Lol, I want them to secure themselves, get their supplies, and save their battery on their phones, not call me!
Plus, I'm not a phone person, so this influx of calls are annoying to me.
I spent the weekend trick or treating with the diva.

Hung out with a fraternity brother that was actually in town for the weekend at The Vortex and had a hippie biker look at us in a truck and freak out and fall. T'was comedy. Worked also.
A friend flew in from AZ to meet up with another friend before they left for England on Sunday. So Saturday, my oldest niece and I met up with them and some other friends and ate and drank and drank and watched Firefly. Then there was late nigh/early morning drunk eating for my niece and I. Sunday was spent doing extra laundry, shopping and catching up on the rest of the chores I needed to do.
